At the Imaginarium Creative Studios we believe every performer should also learn the vital skills in production arts. Our youth company Detonation Warriors have the ultimate learning experience by not only being in the company to perform amazing shows and training in performing arts but they also have the opportunity to learn the basics in production arts by working in teams to get the whole production process underway. They can learn aspects of set and prop design and making, lighting, sound, music production, voice over recording in our own recording studio ‘The Den’, site specific work such as outdoor performance, street theatre and finally theatrical fashion, costume, hair and make-up with professional photoshoots. Performers get the star treatment being transformed into their characters and promotional material being generated in a professional way so all our performers get a taste of what its like to work in the actual performing arts industry.

As part of ‘Reimagined’ we are offering Trash Dollies Workshops online for theatrical costume, fashion, hair and make-up according to set themes of our past shows. Choosing from the show below and subscribing to the course means you can learn how to construct your own costume at home tailored to age groups (Costume packs available free for present students and available to buy for new students with sewing machines available on loan). Workshops teaching you how to design and create your costume, hair and make-up can then be found here for you to follow.
